Experiment

In the spirit of my previous post I am going to conduct an experiment for one week. What I plan on doing is as follows: For one week I am going to listen exclusively to music that I don't normally listen to but that I should probably get into. This means I will not listen to The Beatles, Elliott Smith, Radiohead, Nick Drake, etc. I am mainly focusing on not listening to music that is folky or post-rock. I am going to start listening to more of the RAWK. I am doing this because I believe that the music I listen to has a huge impact on how I feel. Sorta like that question in High Fidelity, "did I listen to pop music cause I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?"

This is going to require that I start finding some new music to listen to and as explained in the last entry, I am on my way. I will report back how this goes next Sunday.

I need to change something actually, I plan on only listening to Radiohead and The Sea and Cake when I study. I have a statistics midterm on Friday and I usually listen to either of those bands when I study, so here is where I will make an exception.
