Organizational Behaviour

I've never taken a business course before. Today when I had my first organizational behaviour lecture in the business building I had no idea where I was going because I've never stepped foot in the building before. I don't know if anyone knows what organizational behaviour is but it is a required course that all business majors have to take in their first and/or second year. I had no idea when I walked into that lecture there would be over 300 people there, I've never seen such a huge class in my life. In the arts department class sizes are never that big, I would say the biggest class I ever had was 150 people, so this was obviously a little too much to handle.

It's weird to place myself in the midst of a totally opposite and foreign university style situation and to be honest I am so glad I am not a business major because if that is how lectures went I would kill myself. All the students were so disrespectful towards the professor, everyone was talking while she was trying to do an introduction to the course. And I mean everyone was talking. the poor woman was practically screaming over everyone even though she had a microphone. I felt so bad for her. I mean, I don't understand these people, they are PAYING to be there and they just talk the whole time. What's the point in paying if you are just going to talk? Really, I am not being super nerdy and lame i'm just being logical. Why waste your money? I find business to be absolutely boring but even I was paying attention! It makes me think the people who are majoring in business actually don't even like business (That's probably the reason actually. It's just a bunch of kids going into business because it's a new economy job and they think they'll be rich)

So I really don't know what to say about this class other than I am truly not looking forward to going, in fact I might just not go at all since it is only an hour and if I do go I guarantee I will sit in the front row near the door so I can leave as soon as possible. Mostly i'm just really surprised at how pathetic these other students are who have no respect for education, their profs, their peers, the people who are paying for their education, etc. Disgusting.
