Mystery of Memory

I find it mind boggling that the first time I hear the song Amazed by Lonestar I find myself singing along without any prior recollection of hearing it, yet when someone asks me what the two types of conditioning are, (classical and operant) something I studied and was tested on in my first year of university I seem to blank out.
