"What's Up Tor-on-TO?"

Back in June (I think) when Passion Pit came to Toronto my friends and I had the pleasure of hanging out with some of the band members and road crew after the after party. While speaking to one fellow who was documenting their fabulous musical adventures he told me about how someone told the band that when they address Toronto at their concert, they have to pronounce every letter of the word Toronto. So, it would be like, "What's up Tor-on-TO?". It's funny because people who are actually from Toronto pronounce Toronto, "Tore-ron-no". I never really noticed that until someone pointed out to me that we don't actually pronounce the T. This is how you can always tell if people are from Toronto or not (more or less).
