Priscilla Ahn

I've been meaning to write about this new artist I found but I've been really busy with school so I haven't got around to it. Just before I decided to post this blog I was working on taking notes on aggression for my social psychology class and I wanted to shoot myself in the face (ha!), mostly because the information is so irrelevant to my interests, hence why I am writing now.


Bob Dylan-esque?

So, her name is Priscilla Ahn and she's a singer-songwriter living in LA. Now, at first I didn't know what to make of her, wasn't sure if I liked her singing because I'm not really big on female singers. Honestly though, her music is rather heavenly, kind of reminds me of feist but...better, to me at least. Her album A Good Day which came out last year is great, pop-y and catchy but yet very chilled out. The first three songs on that album are my favourite, they each hold a special little place in my heart mostly because her songwriting describes how I feel almost way too precisely. I highly suggest you check her out if you like singers like feist, cat power, etc.
